Goal:

“Urban Pop-Up: We turn 50!”

Enhance the awareness of your university in urban space

 

What (object):
Create a two- or three-dimensional object, which calls attention to the 50th anniversary of your university. People in the streets are surprised and attracted by your object and they get a deep interest in Aichi Prefectural University (and they want more information about the activities throughout the anniversary year).

Where (place):
The design has to attract people in the urban space around Nagakute, Nagoya and Toyota. Every place is possible, where you get the attention of people. Consider the best place to be seen and the right moment to generate attention. Unexpected locations can increase the message and create a lasting impression.

 

Who (target group):
Citizens, pupils, businessmen, pedestrians, drivers, tourists, … everyone in the streets of the city is a potential “follower” of your university.

Ideas and concepts

A lot of Idea Sheets were produced after a brief introduction, very fast and with one sketch and a story description each.

Final concepts were selected in team discussions and the team reduced each concept to the core of the story.
